Enrich your garden décor with our owl scarecrow!
Detect & deter pests before they steal your fruit and veggies. The Rotating Head spins back and forth upon motion detection, scaring away thieving predators from your home & garden.
Great Horned Owls are apex predators that roost at the top of the food chain. These birds-of-prey are vicious, highly-territorial, and will fight for their space. Their beak, talons, and carnivorous diet classify them as raptors, and their feather pattern resembles the stripes of a tiger. Early naturalists described Great Horned Owls as “winged tigers” and “tigers of the air,” and we’re calling this one TIGER OWL™
TIGER OWL™ is Dalen's most effective Scare Owl
Why is this product for you?
Our motion sensing owl is Dalen's most effective bird and rodent deterrent, that should not lack from any garden. With its realistic design, the scarecrow makes an amazing job of keeping away intruders from ruining your crops. Our TIGER OWL™ decoy has a rotating head, which is powered by solar energy and doesn't require batteries. A high quality, ultra sensitive motion sensor is embedded inside the Rotating Head, which spins upon motion detection, e.g. when a bird flies nearby or as a rabbit approaches. Made with top-quality materials, this scarecrow is an eco-friendly and durable product, that will last for many years to come. Also, it makes a beautiful piece of decoration in your garden, patio, or lawn.
Some of the amazing features of this product:
Please note:
Natural Enemy Scarecrows work through biomimicry, and a motionless animal isn't lifelike. If you set up an owl and leave it in place for the whole season, pests can easily adapt to its presence, even if its head spins. We recommend using our Natural Enemy Scarecrows as needed, and keeping them indoors when out of use.
Please note:
When filling your rotating head owl with sand, please take care to not allow the head to fall off and drop to the ground. We cannot be responsible for heads that break, and you will need to order a replacement
Please note:
If your owl appears to have stopped working, the battery has most likely been drained empty and needs to be recharged. Normally this isn't an issue, but if TIGER OWL™ is continuously triggered and over-worked, it can get stuck in a state of depletion before having time to recharge. Turn the owl off for a day and let it recharge in a sunny spot. Take care to position your owl in a place that doesn't have excessive disturbances that over-trigger the motion sensor and over-work the battery. TIGER OWL™ is extremely sensitive, especially to moving water and metal.
