The Dalen 3-Eyed Owl Decoy was developed to make an owl that would shock birds, due to its jarring appearance. With the rest of it's body fully realistic, the extra eye is known to increase it's effectiveness compared with regular 2 eyed owls.
While some people prefer the standard owls and find this product to be creepy, it has developed a bit of a cult following of people who enjoy using it for display.
